I saw a pumpkin patch today and now instead of being sold for Halloween,

they are sold as Autumn pumpkins for Thanksgiving decor.  How lovely

those bright orange pumpkins look against the dark, dreary dead grass!

Walking and thinkin' on a brisk, winter's day is so enjoyable that you think

God made it up just for you......but of course, it is for everyone to enjoy.

Watching other people

If you watch other people, you learn so very much from their

successes and their mistakes.  We can avoid so much pain

and be successful so much faster, if we just learned from the

wisdom of those who have walked in front of us!

Fresh Thoughts About Learning

I love learning, I guess it comes from loving to read.  I'm so thankful

my parents gave me the time and resources to sit quietly and soak

up history and dreams with books when I was growing up....

Growing up Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke were two of my favorite

all-time actors.  Wholesome, witty and seemingly in love, they were the

perfect couple to watch as they "lived" and fretted through endless episodes

of everyday living.  Ahhh...those WERE the good ol' days of television!
